Parish Survey #1 >>      |       Parish Survey #2 >>      |       Parish Survey #3 >> St. Michael’s is participating in the New Energies Initiative as directed by the Archdiocese of Newark. We are one of sixty-two parishes currently undergoing a comprehensive assessment of all aspects of the life of our parish, including spiritual life, education and formation, and parish administration. Given the realties of a changing world, all parishes need to think in a strategic fashion to determine how they will deal with these changes today, and more importantly, tomorrow. Father McGovern has formed a core committee, and has welcomed other members of the parish to assist in this process. The goal is to identify ways to make St. Michael’s a stronger, vibrant parish and at the same time to determine and pursue ways to collaborate resources and assets with neighboring parishes. We encourage you, the people of St. Michael’s to provide feedback on the various aspects of the parish life. We will be issuing three (3) short surveys after Easter. These would be completed at mass, and you will be informed of the results of these surveys. You will be able to find more information on St. Michael’s web page www.stmichaelscranford.com. Mission Statement The Core Committee: Is responsible for leading the parish through the New Energies Initiative, which entails evaluating how St. Michael’s is helping the parish community and the community in general to recognize and embrace the presence of Jesus in all that we do. Works collaboratively with other core committees serving neighboring parishes and the Archdiocese of Newark to identify areas where we can share resources more effectively and wisely with one another, and allow the presence of Jesus to extend beyond our traditional parish boundaries. Communicates and interacts with the parish concerning the progress and results of the “New Energies” that are the fruit of this Archdiocesan initiative.
