New Energies St. Michael’s is one of sixty-two parishes currently participating in the New Energies Initiative as directed by the Archdiocese of Newark. Through this effort, St. Michael's will undergo a comprehensive assessment of all aspects of the life of our parish, including spiritual life, education and formation, and parish administration. Given the realties of a changing world, all parishes need to think in a strategic fashion to determine how they will deal with these changes today, and more importantly, tomorrow. Stewardship Stewardship is sharing the Time, Talents and Treasure that God has given each of us is our responsibility as baptized Catholics. It is fundamentally the work of the Spirit in our lives. When we accept our lives as sheer gifts, the Spirit can use us as instruments for spreading the Gospel. Where the Spirit works, there is joy.
