Dear Parents,

We are well into our last trimester and bustling with activities. There are many class trips scheduled during the month of May. Most of the buses will be leaving school very early so please be on time. Most importantly, the 3rd Trimester Progress Reports will be distributed in the first week of May.

Congratulations to our second graders, who received First Holy Communion on April 24th. Mrs. Mc Glynn and Mrs. Schmidt worked throughout the year with their students to prepare them for this sacrament.

We will celebrate Ascension Thursday Mass at 8:30 A.M. on May 13th. Our annual May Crowning will take place at 8:30 A. M. on May 7th. The second and eighth graders will bring flowers to the Blessed Mother, and an eighth grade girl has been chosen to crown Mary. The eighth graders have selected Mairead McKeary. These young gentlemen and ladies described her as kind, caring, friendly, dependable and always doing the right thing. Our 8th grade girls are all lovely; this was a difficult, yet very wise decision. How proud Mr. & Mrs. Mc Keary must be. How proud we all are.

The H.S.A.is sponsoring a Plant Sale. Please do your best to support the H.S.A. and fulfill your fundraising commitment, which is due mid-May.

Please come out to enjoy our talented students at our Spring Concert and our production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”.
