Thank you for completing the H1N1 survey. For those of you that are interested, I will send more information regarding when and where the vaccine will be administered.

Our Retreat Day, scheduled for November 6, is themed "Priest and Calling” -- to complement The Year of the Priest. It will be a wonderful learning experience for the children. At 2:00P.M., parents are welcome to join the student body in the auditorium for the Retreat's closing ceremony. To follow, on November 23, we will have a panel discussion featuring our parish priests and junior high students.

Grades 4 and 7 have been honing their descriptive and informative writing skills. On November 17th they will take the Writing Assessment. Photo-Life will return for retakes and graduate portraits on November 24. 8th Graders will also retake their group shots due to absentees when the photographers were here in early October.

This Friday the children may wear their Halloween costumes and then parade through the center of town at l0A.M. After the parade, the students will enter the auditorium, where each class, one at a time, will walk across the stage. Parents are welcome.

On Monday, November 2, the school children will begin wearing their winter uniforms...no more shorts and polo shirts until the warmer weather returns.
