ST. MICHAEL’S SCHOOL ANNOUNCES 2009 OPEN HOUSE EVENTS

Cranford, New Jersey – St. Michael’s School will conduct a series of Open House events as part of its upcoming Catholic Schools Week activities. Parents and prospective pre-school through grade 8 students are invited to visit during three sessions: Thursday, January 22 at 7pm; Sunday, January 25 from 10:30am to 1:30pm; and Wednesday, January 28 from 1 to 2pm. The school is located at 100 Alden Street, Cranford. Parents and students will have the opportunity to tour the school, and enjoy coffee and conversation with Principal Sandy Miragliotta and St. Michael’s parents and current students. Teachers will also be available in their classrooms to answer questions. Registrations for the 2009 school year will be accepted at the open house sessions.

The school’s state-of-the-art technology lab will be highlighted on the tour. The lab features 20 new wireless tablet PCs, an interactive whiteboard, digital cameras, video camcorders, and educational software and videos. The technology enables St. Michael’s K-8 teachers to present information in exciting new ways to enhance the learning experience and empower students to explore and apply new concepts.
