Principal's April Letter

March 18, 2008

Dear Parents,

The 2nd Trimester has ended and report cards will be distributed the week we return from Easter break. On Wednesday, we will be going to church at 8:30AM for the Passion presented by Grade 5. Please join us for this meaningful presentation.

Spring has not yet completely sprung but we can take our spring uniforms out. According to our school handbook, the spring uniform may be worn as of April 1st...please use your judgement. We return from Easter recess on March 31. The Spring polo shirt may be worn with the long pants or skirts.

I am very disappointed in the footwear worn by many students. Our handbook states that shoes must be brown or black. The shoes may be tied or loafers. Boots and sneakers may not be worn with the traditional uniform. Black/brown sneakers are not shoes!!!

Two reminders should be noted. First, when your child is absent, an absentee note must be sent to the homeroom teacher. Second, lunch may be purchased daily, weekly or monthly. For bookkeeping purposes, monthly is easier.

May you enjoy a Blessed Easter.

Sandy Miragliotta
Principal
