A full-time certified school nurse is available on the premises. The nurse supervises all required health services. These include screenings for vision, hearing, blood pressure and growth for all ages; bi-annual scoliosis exams for grades four, five, six, seven and eight; dental exams for grades one, three, five and seven; and maintenance of student health records. Emergency services are assumed by the nurse and in her absence the principal, the physical education instructor and the school secretary.
